TGP were commissioned to provide landscape architecture services in connection with the redevelopment of the historic grounds associated with The Friarage, Yarm School.
A new planting structure was required to screen a new standard-size 4G hockey pitch and to provide a fitting context for the driveway and new and existing pedestrian routes. The planting design provides some exciting opportunities to provide a new landscape structure for the future.
TGP were further commissioned to carry out planting design in connection with discharge of planning conditions, and also to prepare a Landscape Management and Maintenance Plan for the school grounds. The project has involved considerable liaison with Stockton Borough Council’s tree officer and ensured a legacy of fine parkland trees associated with the historic setting of the school.
