Eston Town Square
TGP was commissioned to carry out landscape design work to RIBA Stage 4 for public realm improvements to the Town Square and War Memorial at Eston, near Middlesbrough.
The works in the vicinity of the War Memorial required Listed Building Consent and were designed to provide a robust space that could accommodate Remembrance Day crowds as well as the more casual user.
Carved stone paving was included that contained information on the history of the War Memorial and the town of Eston – “Born of Iron, Made of Steel”.
