TGP worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design 5 primary schools and 2 secondary schools on the Western Isles, in Uist, Benbecula, Harris and Lewis.
The team were novated to FMP who had a phased approach to the implementation of the schools over a 3 year period. Designs involved hard and soft landscape and playground design. The climate and proximity to the west coast limited the type of plant material and the final sketch was based on species that were already thriving on the islands.
