TGP were appointed to prepare external landscape design proposals for a joint campus of two secondary schools (denominational and non-denominational) coming together on one site with the inclusion of the largest ASN school in Scotland.
Proposals include hard and soft landscape for outdoor learning areas, dining facilities and sports facilities, sensory gardens and special needs play areas as well as play and social spaces.
The school is also to provide a community facility for Port Glasgow. The sports and drama facilities will be open to the community and an existing business centre will be relocated within the school also. The client was keen to provide a welcoming community entrance and the main courtyard provides dual function of community space and a social area for pupils.
