Elder Park Clinic Sensory Garden

TGP were appointed to redesign the original Lady Helen Graham Children’s Garden as part of an extension to The Elderpark Clinic after the original garden had fallen into disrepair. The redesigned sensory garden references elements of the original, while including new features such as the circular path with a raised central grass area, enclosed by low level walls built using red sandstone reclaimed from the original building.  The plants selected for the garden have medicinal uses and reference the clinic’s role in the provision of healthcare. The sensory garden is used by patients and staff alike as a place of respite and enjoyment.
