Thoulstone Park
Thoulstone Park is a 120 acre former golf course in Wiltshire with an owner who has a long held passion to create a mixed-use sustainable community.
The team engaged with senior planning, tourism and economic development teams within the local authority. This resulted in detailed consent for 28 luxury holiday properties, farmshop restaurant, workspace, conference events.
TGP scope of work included the review the park’s attributes and analyse the opportunities and constraints. A full review of the client brief resulted in preparation of sketch proposals, and working closely with the architect, the masterplan was developed to incorporate all elements. Detailed planting plans addressed the specific site conditions; focusing on predominantly native planting and allowing for natural regeneration.
