TGP were appointed by NORR Architects to produce a design appraisal report for a proposed distillery at Ardross near Alness. The report considered the extent to which the local landscape had capacity to accommodate the new development features. The report also provided outline information related to landscape strategy including consideration of landscape proposals which would enhance the estate landscape and provide mitigation.
The concept was to integrate the proposed development within the local landscape through extension of existing landscape features, including native woodland combined with hedging and low growing vegetation of local provenance to provide structure in the context of the wider rural setting.
