Houldsworth Street
Working with Kelvin Properties, this striking 12 storey apartment block on Houldsworth Street is set to breathe new life into a brownfield site and further regenerate Finnieston.
The overall landscape vision is to create a series of green spaces both at ground and roof level that will contribute to both townscape visual amenity and contribute to the local green network and biodiversity.
The site is located on Houldsworth Street within walking distance of Kelvingrove Park. The new courtyard would introduce contemporary design features, a play area, bicycle storage and planting to create a unique space.

The addition of a green roof will help establish a thriving ecosystem in the heart of an urban landscape; not only enhancing the aesthetic appeal of Glasgow but also fostering biodiversity. A lush, living roof can provide a haven for a diverse range of plant species, attracting butterflies, bees, and birds, and transforming an urban area into a vibrant habitat promoting biodiversity and supporting local ecosystems which will benefit both nature and urban dwellers.
The introduction of seating in both the courtyard and roof garden will encourage social activity and help establish a new community.
