Working closely with Atlantic Ecology on this highly sensitive landscape, TGP was delighted to provide Landscape Design solutions for Denham Youd’s proposed Isle of Barra Distillery. The Gin and Malt Whisky Distillery will incorporate a visitor centre with cafe and shop.
Set beside the Machair, wildlife protection is paramount, and consideration was given to the migrating Corncrakes and the need to protect the existing plant species.
The building blends into the landform and simple low stone walls and planting of local provenance will help anchor the building to the landscape.
Our client, the Isle of Barra Distillery is delighted to announce they have reached another milestone in their fundraising target of £750,000.
