The University of York project has been a significant commission for TGP over the last 15 years. The company was initially appointed as specialist landscape architects to review the existing campus landscape framework at the University’s Heslington campus.
The setting and landscape of The University of York contributes to its place as a World Top 100 and Russell Group University. TGP worked closely with the University’s multi-disciplinary team on design development of the original campus as well as being fully involved in the creation of a new 115 ha Heslington East campus.

Heslington East (new campus)

- Development of Landscape Management Plan and Construction Environmental Management Plan.
- Development of a landscape strategy and detailed landscape design to create and maintain a high quality parkland setting as the basis for a distinctive university environment to complement the existing university campus and provide its own sense of place.
