This project was to develop site wide hard and soft landscape proposals associated with the design for a Community Facing Prison facility on behalf of the Scottish Prison Service. Landscaping proposals include the establishment of maritime woodland blocks around the sites perimeter on an exposed coastal promontory above Peterhead Bay.
Externally TGP developed the design of the main entrance area. Internally the proposals include the development of gardens to the Segregation Yards, Open Visits Area, and gardens associated with the Female Houseblock and Community Reintegration Units. Proposals included the concept of using reclaimed Peterhead Pink granite which was originally used in the construction of the listed buildings and walls scheduled for demolition.
