Thompson Park, Burnley
TGP have recently started work on the delivery phase of Thompson Park in Burnley. This will see TGP work in close collaboration with Storah Architects and Burnley Borough Council’s Engineering team to work up the Round 2 proposals to tender stage before commencing the implementation phase of the works. The works include a revamped play area, boathouse and pavilion and the restoration of the Italian Garden. We hope to have the re-opening of the Thompson Park in the Spring of 2018.

Parks for People Bid
TGP recently submitted a second round HLF Parks for People Bid on behalf of Northumberland County Council for Hirst Park, Ashington. Hirst Park was also known as “The Flower Park” and can also claim to have been the place where World Cup Winners Jack and Bobby Charlton played their childhood football. The project was great fun to work on and the enthusiasm of NCC, their partners and the Hirst locals was inspiring to see. We hope to hear in July if the bid is successful.
