Director of TGP Glasgow, based in the Glasgow office, but operating across Scotland’s
Central Belt and East Coast.
I have 28 years experience as a Landscape Architect specialising in Urban Design and Regeneration, in addition to being an Incorporated Member of the Association for Project Safety.
Key Skills
Throughout my career in both public and private sectors, I have covered the entire landscape architecture role from Landscape Planning, Masterplanning, Urban Design, Regeneration, urban and rural design, CDM management and so much more. Over the last 7 years I have also specialised in the restoration of Victorian Parks, school grounds design and the creation of urban open spaces, areas in which I have a real interest.
Passions
I believe that everyone has the right to live in a high quality and stimulating environment and strive to deliver the highest quality in everything that I design, no matter how small and intimate or large and expansive that environment may be. In addition, I also believe that the landscape architects of the future should be trained in such a way that they can deliver high quality work to promote our chosen profession in our ongoing fight to avoid being diluted or lost entirely to ‘value engineering’. I will therefore be continuing Nicola and Rachel’s involvement in education through the Pathway course.
Proud to be in TGP
Having moved to the small but perfectly formed TGP from a ‘corporate monster’, I value the commitment and dedication of the excellent designers around me. For the first time in what seems like forever, I truly look forward to coming into work and being surrounded by others who are as committed to delivering the highest quality work and always exceeding our clients’ aspirations.
